There are times when additional documentation is required for a reimbursement request that has been submitted. One of the most common scenarios is when PeopleKeep marks something as “Action Required”. This means, we are missing some or all of the required documentation that we need to verify your premium or expense for reimbursement.
Below are the steps you can take to upload more documentation that has the required information for us to review and verify (if applicable).
For an out-of-pocket expense request:
- Log into PeopleKeep and under "Reimbursement Requests" find the expense that states "Action Required".
- Hover over the "Action required" symbol to view the notes explaining what documents are needed to verify that expense.
- Under the Actions column, click on the “...”(ellipsis) and select the "Edit" pencil icon to access that expense information.
- On the next screen, scroll toward the bottom of the page under "Expense Receipt", and select “Upload new” to add new/additional documentation we have requested.
- Once you have uploaded the new/additional documentation, you will select the “Submit expense” button.
For a premium request:
- Log into PeopleKeep and go to the middle of your dashboard under "Insurance Premiums" and find the premium stating "Action required".
- On that premium request, select the "Edit" pencil located at the top right.
- On the next screen, scroll toward the bottom of the page under "Expense Receipt", and select “Upload new” to add new/additional documentation we have requested.
- Once you have uploaded the new/additional documentation, you will select the “Submit expense” button.
Once you have selected “Submit expense” the reimbursement request will go back to our Documentation Review team for review. Following the additional review, you'll get further email communication letting you know if your reimbursement submission still requires further documentation or if we were able to verify the reimbursement request.
